Hi, we're Heather and Kay!

We’re two Melbourne mums who started Pint Sized Toys in 2025 with toddlers on the hip and absolutely no idea how to make a product. What we did have was a gut feeling that we wanted something different.

You probably know the feeling. Up late, kids finally asleep, scrolling and searching, trying to work out what actually helps your child learn. We weren't after anything fancy, just something thoughtfully made, built with real kids in mind.

When we started searching properly, really digging instead of just casually browsing, we were surprised by how many of the learning tools we kept being drawn to simply didn't exist for Australian families, and the products we wanted to see our kids use, weren’t available at all! So we looked at each other and said, "What if we just… made them?"

We figured it out as we went. Slowly, messily, and with a lot of help from our toddlers. We spent months finding makers who cared as much as we did, landed on sustainably sourced timber, and piece by piece started turning rough ideas into real things our kids could pick up and play with.

Every product went through the same filter, prototyped, handed to our toddlers, and watched. And every single one is exclusive to Pint Sized Toys. These products didn't exist here before we made them.

We launched online in 2026. We're still small, still learning, and okay with that. What we won't budge on is the reason we started: every piece has to be genuinely well-made, sustainably built, and designed with real thought for how children learn through play.

We built Pint Sized Toys for our families first. We hope it finds a place in yours too.
