Safety & Usage
How to use:
Start with the ten frame tray, place number tiles in order from 1 to 10 and count each one aloud together.
Introduce the number rods alongside the tray, match the rod length to the number tile to show what each number "looks like."
Build simple sums by placing two rods end to end and finding the rod that matches the total length.
Use the tray for "how many" games, place a small group of tiles and ask your child to count or guess without counting (subitising).
Compare rods side by side to explore concepts like longer, shorter, more, and less.
As confidence grows, use the rods and tray together for early subtraction, remove tiles or rods and ask "how many are left?"
Care:
Wipe with a dry or slightly damp cloth; dry immediately.
Do not soak or submerge in water.
Store in the pouch in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight to preserve colour vibrancy.
Warning:
Choking hazard; contains small parts and sand. Not suitable for children under 24 months. Use under adult supervision for children under 3 years. Avoid contact with eyes and mouth when using sand. Wash hands after use.
